Weight is personal. Here’s how 100 Poods handles it.

Your weight readings

100 Poods stores weight readings and tracking preferences locally on your device. You don’t need to create a 100 Poods account to log your weight. The app does not upload your weight history to a 100 Poods server.

Apple Health is optional

If you connect Apple Health, 100 Poods requests access to body weight. You choose whether the app can read or save weight, and you can change permissions in Apple Health. New app readings can sync after saving is enabled; exporting older app history requires a separate action. Health transfers cover the past three years.

Readings imported from Health are not sent back as new app readings. When imported and app values conflict, the app preserves the existing values for your review rather than silently replacing another source’s Health data. Turning sync off does not delete existing Health readings.

Apple Watch and Siri

The companion app exchanges the settings and readings it needs with your iPhone through Apple’s Watch Connectivity framework. Readings entered while disconnected can be held on the Watch until syncing is possible. If you use Siri, your request is also subject to Apple’s Siri privacy settings and policies.

Importing and exporting

CSV transfers cover the past three years; older readings already stored in the app remain intact. When you export or share a file, you choose where it goes. The service or person receiving that file handles it according to their own practices.

Purchases

Apple handles App Store purchases. 100 Poods uses purchase entitlement information to determine Premium access. It does not receive your payment card details.

This website

This site has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account registration, or mailing-list form. The hosting service may process ordinary request information needed to deliver the site. Emailing support shares your email address and message with us; include only the information you want us to see.

Questions or support requests

Contact support@grainy.space for questions about your information or to request deletion of correspondence you’ve sent us. You do not need to send weight history to ask for help.
